Portland’s iconic and historic Ford Building has had a full life and served many uses since its construction in 1914. Today, it’s home to an array of creative offices, retail stores, and artists studios.  Included amongst these unique businesses The Ford Building has hosted a prestigious fine arts gallery which has showcased works of art from local artists to the Pacific NW and beyond.

Now under new management, the renamed Ford Gallery PDX prepares to usher in a new era of modern art with its inaugural exhibition, “Start Your Engines”. The show will exhibit artworks from the local artists who call the Ford Building their home.  Those attending can expect to see art ranging from paintings and photography to mixed media works.  “Start Your Engines” captures the creative spirit of Portland art and pays homage to the legacy of The Ford Building.

Backcountry Wine Tasting Room is partnering with Ford Gallery PDX providing wine tasting and music during the opening reception.
